Day 1 Zagreb Airport Arrival Our driver will meet you at the Franjo Tuđman Zagreb Airport and transfer you to your accommodation in Zagreb, after which you can take a short orientational tour of the capital city of Croatia. On Your tour you will see the main historical places in Zagreb, the Jelačić Square, the old Zagreb cathedral, Dolac, the lovely green market in the old city centre and enjoy the rest of the day on the streets of the capital city.
Day 2 Tour of Zagorje
In the morning we will pick you up at your place of accommodation and take you the Zagorje region, a picturesque region north of Zagreb. On your private tour of Croatia you will see the beautiful Trakošćan Castle, situated on a small island in the middle of the lake, that is now a museum of the region’s history. On your way back to the capital, you will get to experience the lovely landscape of Zagorje and taste the local cuisine in a local restaurant.
Day 3 Plitvice Lakes
On your third day of your journey across Croatia you will have the chance to experience the breath-taking beauty of the Plitvice Lakes. We will stop in the Rastoke, know as the Little Plitvice Lakes after which you will have up to 4 hours to explore the Plitvice National Park, either by boat or by train. We will stay overnight at the Plitvice Lakes.
Day 4 A tour of the authentic Dalmatian countryside
After breakfast, we will continue toward Split, stopping at Plastovo, a small village in the Dalmatian Hinterland, where you will be able to lunch at a traditional family restaurant. Fine organic, home-grown vegetables and authentic Dalmatian vine will surely leave you speechless. Then we will continue to Split, the historic capital of Dalmatia, world-famous for its Diocletian’s Palace in the old city centre, where we will stay overnight.
Day 5 a day amid the ruins of Diocletians palace
On this day we will tour the city of Split and discover the beauty of the old city centre, its substructures and visit the Peristyle and the majestic Split Cathedral. Ancient Roman architecture will surely make a lasting impression on you.
Day 6 a day in Hvar
After a stay in Split, we will leave by ferry to the town of Hvar. There you will see one of the oldest theatres in all of Europe, the arsenal and the fortress Fortica above the city. The Hvar cathedral is no less beautiful, situated on the Pjaca, the largest square in Dalmatia. You will also get to visit the famous Hvar beaches, where you will have free time to swim and relax. If you want additional, We can visit the Pakleni Islands or the famous Blue Cave across the town. We will stay overnight in Hvar.
Day 7 Pelješac peninsula
After we leave Hvar we will head south down to Dubrovnik, the world-famous city on the Croatian shoreline. After several hours of a pleasant drive southwards, we will stop in the town of Ston and visit its famous walls, the longest stone walls in Europe and the second longest in the World, after Chinese. Driving further up the Pelješac peninsula, we will discover one of the most famous vine-growing regions in Croatia, well-known for its excellent vines of top quality. We will also stop at one of the local family vineries and try some of the best vines on the peninsula. Additionally, we can book for You Private oyster tasting.
Day 8 Dubrovnik, the pearl of the adriatic
Finally, we will stop at Dubrovnik, where you can have a pleasant walk in the old city and explore its old defence walls, from where you will have an excellent view of the old city centre. Every street, corner and building in the old city of Dubrovnik has a story to tell and steeped in both legends and history, spanning over a thousand years.
Day 9 Dubrovnik departure
